Welcome! I’m Christina, the baker behind AZ Breaking Bread. Raised in Yavapai County since 1990, I’ve learned that some of life’s richest connections are forged over shared meals and heartfelt conversation. Motivated by my faith and a desire to connect, I strive to use my passion for cooking to bring neighbors closer together and transform unfamiliar faces into friends.
Baking has always been an important part of my life, learning alongside friends and family as I grew up, to teaching my own children, family recipes. Over time, my love for the craft grew into a heartfelt mission—one that led me to share homemade breads and treats with my community. AZ Breaking Bread was born out of this journey, evolving from simple gatherings to a cherished local, Mirco bakery, where every loaf carries a story. Each creation is inspired not only by tradition, but also by the joy that comes from bringing people together around the table, to make memories, share the good news, and enjoy the provisions of the Lord.

Every loaf and every treat I craft is made with care and a dedication to quality. I choose to use fresh-milled flour, not just for superior flavor, but to respect the grain and preserve the natural oils and nutrients that are often lost in commercial flour.
